Before
anything is important to say that anybody can do anything on kingdom of God
just to do or for fun, all you need is to have a purpose to do something, a
goal, a target to be achieved, does nothing in vain for God.
But,
but why start talking about this? Pray is connected to purpose? YES, pray has
EVERYTHING to do with purpose!
To
understand this we must first know who is pray; would be just words?
Pray is attitude!
“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the
hypocrites {are}: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the
corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you,
They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and
thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”
Mateus
6:5-6
Pray
is you take a posture of humility and intimacy to recognize who needs advice, needs
to be guided and recognizes that it cannot walk without the guidance of God, this
must be your motivation to pray, be closer of Holy Spirit to listen him words.
There
can be no true communion with God without prayer, and cannot be a pure prayer
without an open heart and willing to obey the voice of Christ Jesus.
"I
pray and nothing happens, now what? 'i'm Doing wrong? "
It
is true that sometimes you pray and nothing seems to happen, as if God is not
hearing our prayers, as if heaven were closed to us, but this is not the end of
the world, and does not mean that God does not care about you and that He
doesn't hearing you.
Persevere, have faith, do not be
discouraged, God expects you to devote yourself to hear He, to pursue He as if
your life depended on Him completely, remember that your faith is what will
make a difference for God: “But without
faith {it is} impossible to please {him}: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and {that} he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him.” Hebreus 11:6
Beware the praying decorated!
you
can pray saying: “God, bless me, i need a car…God bless me, i need a job…God
bless me…God bless me God bless me…” and it ends up getting so mechanical that
just not generating any relationship with God, no dialogue, no intimacy, and if
you pay attention, no worship in this prayer, stop just to fulfill what the Bible
says and you will see considerable changes in several (or all) aspects of your
life.
The
next time you pray for, try just say: “Jesus, what you have for me today? What
are the paths I follow to see your grace in me?” But where it is written in the
Bible? See Psalm 37.5
Avoid
repeated and memorized prayers, avoid that mechanical prayer in which the
sameness prevents you from having an intimate relationship with God and open
your heart to Him, you can say about you need to God, but, never forget to
thank and worship Him, there is no formula to pray,
Leave a comment and share this reflection
with everyone!
May the Lord Jesus bless you and your
entire family!
God's peace to you!
